Privacy policy

Architalcan Design Inc. (“we”) operates architalcandesign.com. When you call, email, message us on WhatsApp or submit a form, we collect the details you provide: your name, contact information, the property address and any documents you attach, such as a survey or photos.

We use that information only to assess your project, to quote it and, if you hire us, to prepare and file drawings and permit applications on your behalf. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not add you to newsletters without asking. We share them only as your project needs: with the City of Toronto when we file (Toronto Building for permits, and the Committee of Adjustment for a minor variance or severance, whose applications are public), with engineers or other consultants we bring in, with the email provider that delivers your form to us, and with our website host as described below. If you open the map on our contact page, open the lot map on our garden suite lot check or message us on WhatsApp, the company behind it (Google, Esri or WhatsApp) receives that data under its own privacy policy.

Form submissions are delivered to our office email through a transactional email provider. Our website is hosted on infrastructure that may store server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and performance. We do not run advertising trackers. If analytics are enabled, they are configured without cross-site tracking.

Surveys and drawings you send are kept on our systems for the life of the project and as required by our professional and insurance obligations. You can ask us to delete your request, and anything you sent with it, by emailing rocco@architalcandesign.com. We delete it unless we must keep it for those obligations, and we tell you if so.
